1 - WHEN CAN WE TAKE TTDIT TOURS? WHAT ARE THE START/END TIMES?
TTDIT operates daily. Tours are, in theory, available everyday of the year. Start and End times depend on the option chosen and can be seen on each of the services pages.

Some tours/packages can only be booked at certain dates. If you are not sure, don’t hesitate to ask us or to indicate your 2-3 preferred date on the booking page.

2 - CAN WE HAVE TOURS WITH DIFFERENT START/END TIMES?
Absolutely! Please email us with your request. We will do our best to accommodate your requirements.
3 - WHERE DO WE MEET?

Meeting spot is indicated on every tour page.

If needed, your photographer/guide can pick you up at your hotel to make your experience as hassle-free as possible. Should you prefer to meet directly in the city, he/she will be happy to accommodate your request. Please make sure to let us know your preferred location in your reservation form.

4 - WHY TTDIT?
Contrary to what you could have with other guided tours, TTDIT will focus on immortalizing memories through awesome pictures (photo tours) and having a new friend (your photographer/guide) sharing stories about his/her life in Tokyo and showing you around the best spots/areas. You will feel like you are hanging around with a friend in a city you live in.

All the guides and photographers have THEIR spots. Meaning that every tours and package can be totally different depending on the person with you. All of our services are top notch ones, meaning you will have one of the best time of your life.

5 - WHAT HAPPENS IF WEATHER TURNS REALLY BAD?
In case of extreme weather, your photographer or guide will offer you several attractive indoor activities to choose from. If none of the alternatives suit your needs, you may re-schedule the service or request a refund. Any refund request deemed reasonable will be honored.
6 - HOW DO WE GET ABOUT?
You will mainly be walking and traveling by train and subway. TTDIT believes that the best way to get around Tokyo is to do it like the locals do, that way, you’ll be sure to never miss an interesting spot/area that you’d like to see and immortalize. Of course special requests may be accommodated – If that applies to you, please let us know via the reservation form.
7 - WHEN AND HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY PICTURES?
In the case you chose a photography tour or option, an e-mail with the download link will be sent to your e-mail address within 72 hours after the day you met the photographer.
8 - DO WE GET INSIDE THE BUILDINGS?
Since the idea of our services is to maximize the ratio time/visit of the spots, normally, it won’t be possible to go inside the buildings. We prefer to focus on the outside. But some tours include the visit of inside buildings, so you don’t have to worry about it. Also, for us, the client is the king, so if you prefer to organize the time differently, and enjoy also inside the building with your photographer or guide, then just let him/her know. Please note that sometimes it won’t be possible to take pictures in indoor spaces, TTDIT declines all responsibilities if that happens.
9 - WHAT IF I CANNOT FIND WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR?
Whilst TTDIT’s package and options will cover the needs of most clients, it may happen that a museum you would like to see, a restaurant you would like to eat at or an activity you would like to do does not appear on the list. If this is the case, please email us your request, and we will do our best to accommodate it.
10 - HOW TO MAKE A RESERVATION/PAYMENT?
To reserve one or several of our services/options, please fill out the form on the reservation page. When your reservation is completed, you will receive a confirmation email containing a further information.

At the moment, TTDIT doesn’t require an advance payment in order to secure your reservation, as we know it is easier for you to pay the photographer or guide at the very beginning of the tour.

Because of that, and to avoid “no show” from our clients, we request a copy of your passport (name and picture page) as well as a contact phone number for the day of your visit and your address of stay.

Be reassured that those information are strictly confidential and will be used for security reasons only.

11 - SHOULD I EAT WITH THE PHOTOGRAPHER/GUIDE DURING LUNCH BREAK?
Unless requested, your new friend will not join you when you eat: he/she will lead you to the restaurant, help you order, take some pictures (photo tours only) and then leave you with family or friends until you finish lunch. He/she will then pick you up to continue the visit.

In the case you request him/her to stay and eat with you during lunch, understand that his/her meal and beverages will be at your charge.
