These General Terms and Conditions of Trade constitute the entire agreement between the client and things-to-do-in-tokyo.com / ttdit.com (called TTDIT). Use of the service indicates acceptance of the terms and conditions.

All reservations are subject to availability at the time of booking. Any verbal quote given is only an estimate of the price which will be effective only upon the issuing of a written advice on confirmation of the reservation.

TTDIT is not liable for weather conditions, or any damages sustained as a result of such weather conditions, nor any other personal impediment sustained by you or any other traveller on trip. Trip insurance is not included with and not required for TTDIT services. However, trip insurance is highly recommended for all travellers. It is the traveller’s responsibility to purchase adequate travel insurance.

TTDIT does not accept any liability whatsoever for the acts, omissions or default, whether negligent or otherwise, of the services in connection with your tour or travel pursuant to a contract between them and yourselves and over whom we have no direct and exclusive control. We do not accept liability in contract or in tort for any accident, injury, damage, loss, delay, irregularity, additional expenses or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by any act or event which are beyond our control, or which are not preventable by reasonable diligence on our part.

Prices include taxes. All prices shown are subject to variation without notice.

Should the client or any member of the party wish to cancel, the client must advise TTDIT in writing. Such written advice should be signed by the person who made the original booking. The cancellation is not effective until TTDIT receives the written advice. Cancellations are subject to a fee as follows:
– 15 days, or more, prior to activity: 100% refundable
– 14-7 days prior to activity: 50% refundable
– 6 days, or less, prior to activity: not refundable
No refunds will be made in the event that fewer participants arrive for a reserved booking or for cancellations.
Cancellation policy for the Christmas and New Year’s period and certain other packages/activities/options is different and will depend on our service providers’ conditions. In the event that TTDIT must cancel an activity for any reason, we will fully refund the activity price and such refund shall constitute full settlement to our clients. TTDIT is not responsible for any additional expenses that may be incurred by a client due to a cancelled activity, e.g. purchase of more expensive activities, delays, additional lodging…

Clients arriving at a meeting point more than 30 minutes late will be considered a “no show” and TTDIT will not anymore be obliged to provide service or refund. In the event we decide to provide the service, we may shorten the tour duration to respect the reserved time slot.

The General Conditions are subject to French law. Any dispute relating to their interpretation and/or performance will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Paris.
